About us
Asociația RoQTeam is a Romanian association for quantum science. We help students, researchers and industry learn and work on quantum technology together.
It started with three students at the Military Technical Academy “Ferdinand I” who wanted to bring Romania’s scattered quantum community together. Their first event was Romania’s edition of Qiskit Fall Fest, in 2024.
BreaQ followed in 2025 and became a yearly hackathon and conference. In 2026 the community became a registered association, open to anyone who shares its goals.
